Brain Shifting

In this three-phase series, I study the principle of three philosophical concepts to interpret them graphically. The sensation is of wanting to translate my own body and one's senses, moulding the theme-words of each essay like plastic. Stoicism, a Hellenistic philosophic school, founded in Greece known for teaching that "virtue is the only good" for human beings. This virtue is linked to developing self-control and firmness to overcome destructive emotions.

Hedonism is a family of theories that, in all their forms, have pleasure as their central point. Pleasure is the highest good and the proper aim of human life; what moves the passions, desires and the whole mechanism of life.

Finally, Epicureanism is the philosophical system that preaches the pursuit of moderate pleasures to reach a state of tranquillity and freedom from fear. The absence of bodily suffering is achieved by knowing how the world works and limiting desires.
